<span style="color: #222222;">Wheat Procurement by the Centre from the States of Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, and Jammu &amp; Kashmir at Minimum Support Price (MSP) has recorded a substantial growth of nearly 30 per cent over corresponding period of last year.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food &amp; Public Distribution has informed that in the current Rabi Marketing Season of 2021-22 over 366 lakh metric tonnes of Wheat has been procured at MSP from these States benefitting nearly 37 lakh 15 thousand farmers so far.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Ministry added that over Rs. 72,406 crore have been transferred to the farmers for these procurements.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Food &amp; Public Distribution Ministry said that Paddy procurement in the ongoing Kharif Marketing Season of 2020-21 is continuing smoothly in the procuring States with purchase of over 742 Lakh Metric Tonnes of paddy.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">It added that about over 1 crore 11 Lakh farmers have already benefitted from these procurement Operations with MSP value of over Rs. 1,40,165 Crore.</span><br />'' &nbsp;<br />
