Assistant secretary of WFI, Vinod Tomar told PTI that the news of Malik's arrest came on Sunday and since it was a Sunday and the office was closed, the decision to suspend Malik was taken today by the WFI President. Tomar said the Federation is now awaiting the investigation report before finalising his suspension.
