Western Railway motormen call off their strike this evening and normal services to resume soon. This followed discussions between the striking motormen and the management. According to Western Railway's PRO, they have been assured that their demands will be considered soon. About 180 motormen today went on a flash strike demanding co-motormen for assistance besides addressing several safety related issues. Services on Mumbai’s Central and Harbour routes are running normal.
