In a big relief to the commuters, Western Railways' train traffic started in both directions as Down line at Dahanu has been opened. <br/><br/>The work to restore up main line is in progress while the movement on the up Loop line is already functioning since yesterday. Western railways yesterday cancelled several of its long distance trains coming to Mumbai through Gujarat, due to major derailment of 11 wagons of a Conraj container train at Dahanu, about 100 kms from Mumbai. <br/><br/>The train was travelling from Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT) in Mumbai to Moradabad. Yesterday morning all down services of long distance trains were cancelled and the up services were curtailed. However later in the day, a few trains were re-routed and rescheduled.<br/><br/>The Western Railways has opened two extra counters for refund at Mumbai Central, Bandra T, Borivali & Surat besides opening the Help Desks. For latest updates on cancellation, short termination, and diversion of trains passengers have been requested to follow Western Railways Facebook page.<br/><br/>
