<span style="color: #222222;">The western naval command has sprung into action to provide Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief in the wake of extremely severe cyclonic storm Tauktae wreaking havoc on the western coast.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">According to Mumbai's Defence PRO, INS Kolkata has sailed out for assistance after receiving a SOS message from Barge 'GAL Constructor' with 137 people onboard that was sailing about 8 Nautical Miles from Mumbai.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Besides, INS Kochi and INS Talwar have also been pressed into service to rescue Barge ''P305'' that has gone adrift off Heera Oil Fields in Bombay High area with 273 personnel onboard. The oil fields are around 70 km southwest of Mumbai.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The naval service has also successfully rescued four crew members of Indian flagged Tug Coromondel Supporter XI that went adrift North West of New Mangalore early this morning. In a tweet, Defence PRO said that rough seas due to Tauktae cyclone had resulted in flooding of the vessel's machinery compartments rendering it without propulsion and power supply. Accordingly,  the crew was left without any support and rescue options by sea.</span><br />''  <br />
