In the wake of the Uri attack, Western Army Commander Lt Gen Surinder Singh today reviewed the operational preparedness of the Army in Jammu and Pathankot regions and emphasized on ensuring fool proof security measures. <br/><br/>A Defense spokesman said Lt. Commander visited the forward areas in Jammu, Samba and Pathankot where he interacted with field commanders and troops in the area and appreciated the efforts of Army units and formation.<br/><br/>The spokesman said Lt. General reiterated the need to maintain a high order of operational preparedness and alertness.
