West Indies win final ODI against India by 7 wickets

Hosts West Indies yesterday outplayed Team India to bag its second consecutive victory, in the last one day international cricket match at the Sabina Park in Jamaica. With this, the 5-match ODI series has ended 3-2, with the young Indian Team as the winners but West Indies as the confident side, ahead of the Test series which begins on the 20th of this month. Put into bat, India started on a dismal note with the top order yet again failing to dominate in the initial stages of their innings. Virat Kohli with 94 and Rohit Sharma 57, were the only Indian batsmen who impressed, while the others were made to toil by the Caribbean bowlers throughout the innings. With 4 wickets, man of the match Andre Russell did most of the damage with his pace as India were dismissed at a formidable 251. In reply, Darren Bravo amassed a commendable 86, helping the West Indies to overhaul the target in the 49th over with 7 wickets in hand. Ramnaresh Sarwan also scored a handy 75.
