West Bengal has touched the milestone of vaccination of 2 crore doses. Vaccination drive is being conducted from around 1800 sites across the state, with over 1550 government vaccination centres. As the supply of vaccines from the centre increased from 21st June, the state could vaccinate over 3 lakh people daily for the last three consecutive days.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''Out of 2 crore 26 thousand doses administered so far, over 1 crore 55 lakh got the first dose while 44 lakh 90 thousand got the second dose. More than 23 lakh persons belonging to the special category in the age group of 18-44 years have been inoculated since the drive began in the state.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Now, West Bengal aims for administering 4 lakh doses daily and to include mothers, having children upto 12 years of age, in the priority list of inoculation in an attempt to save kids from the infection in view of the possible third wave of Covid-19.</span><br />
