West Bengal to develop 7 districts for better health services

The West Bengal Government will develop seven new districts for the improvement of health services in the state.These districts are Bankura, Bishnupur, South 24 Parganas, Diamond Harbour, North 24 Parganas, Basirhat, West Midnapur, Jhargram, Burdwan, Assansole, Birbhum, Rampurhat, East Midnapur and Nandigram.Apart from this in the state’s backward areas, 27 new super specialty hospitals will be constructed in 11 districts at a cost 2 thousand crore rupees. Talking to newspersons at the Writers’ Buildings in Kolkata on Saturday the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that, the pressure from different hospitals will decrease as a result of this.
