<span style="color: black;">In West Bengal, the police have arrested former minister Shyamaprasad Mukhopadhyay for alleged financial fraud amounting to nearly 10 crore rupees. The former chairperson of Bishnupur Municipality of Bankura district for the last three decades left Trinamool Congress and joined BJP just before the state assembly elections earlier this year. He was removed from the post of chief of board of administrators of the municipality last November.</span>
