West Bengal: Mandatory quarantine for migrant workers returning from five COVID19 states

<span style="color: #222222;">The West Bengal Government has decided to keep migrant workers at Quarantine Centres compulsorily who were coming from Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Delhi and Chennai. Announcing this in Kolkata today, the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that migrant workers are coming from those areas will stay at Quarantine Centres  for 14 days as number of Corona attacked people in this states are high. She alleged that the Railways are running Shramik Special trains without consulting the State Government.<br />''<br />''Ms. Banerjee apprehended that the Corona disease may be spread as huge numbers of trains are arriving and the State Government is facing difficulties to conduct health screening of huge number of migratory labourers who are coming. She sought Prime Minister Narendra Modi's intervention in this regard.<br />''<br />''Meanwhile, the State Government has started Inter-District bus services from today. The state-owned bus services have also began in Kolkata and adjourning areas besides plying of Auto Rickshaw services from today.</span><br />
