<span style="color: #222222;">In West Bengal Lalgola Gram Panchayat at Murshidabad District  has taken unique steps to reduce the hardships of daily wage earners and aged people during ongoing lockdown against COVID -19</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Besides supplying food items and cooked food the Gram Panchayat has come forward to supply essential medicines to the daily wage earners and labourers free of cost .</span><br />''<br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR Correspondent reports, Lalgola is situated near Indo – Bangladesh boarder in Murshidabad district of the State . The place is under developed than other parts of the district . Most of the people are associated with cultivation and daily labourers . Earnings of them have become virtually nil during lockdown . As a result they can't purchase their daily medicines also .</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> <br />''Lalgola Gram Panchayat has come forward for their rescue and supplying medicines as per preion at free of cost . The Panchayat Pradhan Ajoy Ghosh told that besides this members of Panchayat are also supplying medicines to the aged people who are unable to go medicine shops during lockdown.</span><br />''<br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Panchayat has also procured essential medicines for three Health Centres in the area for distribution to the needy. People in the area are happy with the functioning of the Panchayat at the crisis period when most of Medicine shops are running with no stock.</span>
