<span style="color: #222222;">In West Bengal, the State Health Department has asked the district officials to keep track of international travelers on home quarantine to prevent the spread of Omicron variant of COVID. In a circular issued by the National Health Mission, the District Administration and health officials have been asked to trace and monitor the travelers with negative RT-PCR reports and to remind them of the RT-PCR test on day 8. The Health Department will be providing the list of travelers to the district officials. Those found negative, would have to be self-monitor for further seven days.<br />''<br />''As per protocol, all international flyers arriving in Kolkata from high risk nations are required to undergo RT-PCR test on arrival. Those tested positive have to go to the designated hospitals. Those tested negative are sent to home but they have to undergo day 8 test after seven days of home quarantine. The State Government has already identified the ID hospital in Kolkata for isolation and treatment.</span><br />
