West Bengal Govt to start ambulance services in private partnership

The West Bengal State Government will start ambulance services in every block of the state with partnership of private parties. Thought the ownership of the ambulance will remain with the State Government, the private parties will have to take responsibilities in aspects like repair and maintenances .<br/><br/>Speaking at a discussion on the importance of private participations in the Health Services at the Bengal National Chamber of Commerce and BNCCI) in Kolkata today, the State Health Minister Mr Surya Kanta Mishra said that in special cases the state government will subsidize the fair of the ambulances. <br/><br/>Mr Mishra said that the government will encourage private participations in diagnostics aspect of treatment like dialyses , MRI and CT scan in Government and Health Center.
