West Bengal govt to procure 3 crore masks in wake of increasing COVID cases

<span style="color: #222222;">The West Bengal Government has decided to procure 3 crore masks in the wake of increasing COVID cases in the State. The Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said in Kolkata that social distancing , safe practices and masks are the best way to fight the pandemic.<br />'' <br />''<br />''The Musks will be distributed to school students , 100 days scheme beneficiaries , frontline health workers , Police , fire services staff, municipalities , civic volunteers and others at free of cost to contain the spread of disease .The State Small Scale Industries Department will manufacture all these musks . The Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that besides health infrastructure in the State, prevention  of virus is equally important . The State Government has fixed the prices of COVID test and treatment at private Nursing Homes following complaints of exorbitant charges are being taken by them from patients. </span><br />
