In West Bengal, as new cases of COVID infection went down significantly in the past few weeks, the State Government has issued an order to introduce strict containment measures to prevent further spread of the disease. The District Administrations have been asked to ensure implementation of the government order. AIR correspondent reports that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had directed the administration to keep a check in areas, where the new cases of COVID infection cross 200.<b></b><br />''<b><i><u> </u></i></b><br />''<span style="color: #222222;">As per the latest data, six districts including Kolkata had reported more than two hundred cases yesterday. Even though the relaxation comes into force, the State Government has asked all the stakeholders to remain on high to prevent further spread of the COVID-19 infection. District authorities and the Municipal Commissioner of Kolkata Municipal Corporation have been asked to analyse COVID data to find out local hotspots and pockets of high infection and identify those as containment or micro-containment zone. Strong surveillance measures will be instituted in the zones to implement norms of physical distancing and COVID Appropriate Behaviour. Early testing, tracing and tracking of suspected cases have to be ensured for better clinical management.</span><br />
