<span style="color: #222222;">The West Bengal government has imposed some more stringent restrictions in the state for two weeks from tomorrow as a precautionary measure to protect the health of the general public in the wake of rising corona infection in the state.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Chief Secretary Alapan Banerjee told a virtual press conference from Navanna today that all government and private offices would be closed except for emergency services.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Metro and local trains as well as autos, taxis, buses and waterways will be completely closed, he said.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Banks will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and general stores from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The sweet shop will be open from 10 am to 5 pm and the jewelery shop will be open from 12 noon to 3 pm.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">All gatherings are banned. A maximum of 50 people can participate in the marriage process and a maximum of 20 people can participate in the funeral process.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Besides, all types of traffic except emergency areas will be closed from 9 pm to 5 am the next day.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Spa, gym, shopping complex, cinema hall, park, zoo, museum will be closed. He made it clear that action would be taken in accordance with the Disaster Management Act if the rules were not followed.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">This rule will continue till May 30.
