<span style="color: #222222;">The West Bengal Government has formed a Task Force  for maintaining supply of essential services during the nationwide lockdown in the wake of COVID 19 pandemic. State Chief Secretary Rajib Sinha will head the 23 members Task Force. The Force will work with close co-ordination with the Districts administration. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee reviewed the situation at the State Secretariat today. She said that the administration has taken steps against 8 Police officials for their acts violating government' s directives. The Chief Minister assured that there is no dearth of supply of essential commodities and medicines in the State.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Our Kolkata Correspondent reports that amid the lockdown the emergency postal Services have remained open in the State. Chief Postmaster General of West Bengal Circle Goutam Bhattacharjee informed AIR news that over 47 thousand transactions involving more than 82 crore rupees took place through Postal Savings Bank system during past 24 hours. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Over 17 lakh rupees cash withdrawal were also reported from Postal ATM services. Mr. Bhattacharjee said that booking of Registered and Speed Posts are also on in selected post offices.</span><br />''
