The West Bengal Governor Mr. M.K.Naraynan today presented Police Medals to sixty police officers for meritorious service. In the police investiture ceremony, the joint commissioner of the police of the detective department of the state, Mr. Raj Kanojia was awarded the President’s Medal.<br/><br/> The state Governor also received salute of sixty battalions of the Kolkata and the state police in the march-past. The Director General of state police, Mr. Bhupinder Singh, the Kolkata city police commissioner Mr. Goutam Mohan Chakraborty, the state Chief Secretary Mr. Ashoke Mohan Chakraborty and state Home Secretary Mr. Ardhendu Sen were also present on the occasion.
