West Bengal: Cyclonic storm 'Amphan' affects 6 cr people in 16 districts

In West Bengal 6 crores people have been affected in 16 districts of the state from recent Cyclonic storm 'Amphan'. Giving this information in Kolkata the State Home Secretary, Mr. Alapan Bandyopadhyay said that 3 lakh people are still in the relief camps in different areas.<br />'' <br />'' The State Home Secretary said that the Power supply, which was snapped after the storm in various areas, has been restored. He added that authorities are working on a war footing to bring back the Power, Water supply, Tele-communication and Internet services in the rest of the areas. People in many areas today staged demonstrations protesting against the lack of essential services after 6 days of Cyclonic storm which hit the State on last Wednesday. <br />''
