<span style="color: #222222;">As a measure to prevent Covid 19 infection, temperature of all voters will be checked at each booth of all 144 wards in the forthcoming Kolkata Municipal Election. The voter can enter the booth if he or she does not have any fever or any other symptoms of Covid-19. Nilanjan Sandilya, Secretary, WB State Election Commission said, the State Election Commission has deployed around 5000 personnel for the purpose. The number of voters in all 144 wards is more than 40 lakh. Number of booths is 4,742. Mr Sandilya said that one health expert has been appointed for each ward.</span><br />
