The West Bengal Chief Minister Ms Mamata Banerjee has directed the State Administration for speedy disposal of certificates belonging to Schedule Cast, Schedule Tribes and other backward classes. Ms Banerjee met the MLAs belonging to these communities at the State Assembly today. <br />'' <br />'' Briefing Media, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Mr Partha Chatterjee said that the Chief Minister took stock of the situation regarding the pace of progress of these communities and problems faced by them. <br />'' <br />'' Ms Banerjee also directed that the lands belonging to the tribal should not be taken away or used in other purposes. Around 23 per cent Schedule casts, 6 per cent Schedule Tribes and 39 per cent other backward classes persons live in the state.<br />
