The West Bengal Chief Minister Mr. Buddhadev Bhattacharjee has called upon the people of the state to fight the menace of Maoism unitedly. He was speaking at a function after distributing land-pattas amongst Adivasi and Tribals in Bankura on Saturday. <br/><br/>The Chief Minister said that, the violent politics of killing indulged in by Maoist in the forest areas of Southern Bankura has to be stopped immediately. He said, for this public support is needed. <br/><br/>Admitting that the financial status of the people in the forest areas of the district is not proper, the Chief Minister said, that, the lot of the local populace needs to be improved to wean them away from the Maoist influence.<br/>
