West Bengal CM appeals oppostion to cooperate in restoring peace

The West Bengal Chief Minister, Mr Buddhadev Bhattacharjee has appealed the opposition parties to cooperate with the Government to restore peace and to recover illegal arms in the State. <br/><br/>Replying to an adjournment motion in the State Assembly today Mr Bhattacharjee advocated for political desires of all concerned to bring peace. Refuting charges of opposition that ruling party workers are creating reign of terror with the help of policemen the Chief Minister claimed that leftist activists were killed in maximum number in political clashes at different times. <br/><br/>Earlier, moving the motion the Trinamul Congress Legislative leader and opposition leader, Mr Partha Chatterjee alleged that the law and order situation has completely broken down in the State and administration has failed to resist political clashes in which numbers of people were killed. Opposition Congress and SUCI also supported the motion.
