Since morning, people were seen assembling at the Puja Pandals as well as in traditional Durga Pujas organized at home to offer Pushpanjali. Belur Math, the headquarters of Ramakrishna Math and Mission has been webcasting the Puja over social media due to Covid as devotees are not allowed to enter during the days of Durga Puja. On the occasion of Maha Ashtami, Kumari Puja was performed at Belur Math. Some other traditional puja organizers also performed Kumari Puja this morning.
