The West Bengal cabinet has decided to increase salary of ministers. At one stroke it is being increased to 12 thousand rupees, which is equivalent to the salary of MLAs. So long, the salaries of ministers used to be 7 thousand rupees. Even if any MLA would become a minister, his or her salary would be reduced to 7 thousand rupees.
