In West Bengal, by-elections in Asansol Lok Sabha and Ballygunge Assembly constituencies passed off peacefully. Around 53 percent combined voter turnout was registered at five o'clock this evening. According to Election Commission sources, the EVM malfunction following scorching heat disrupted the voting process at some booths in Asansol.
