<span style="color: black;">In West Bengal, at least two persons have died due to rain related incidents. Large areas of different districts of South Bengal including Kolkata have been inundated due to continuous heavy rain caused by the well marked low pressure area. Various areas in the districts- North and South 24 Parganas, East and West Medinipur, Howrah, Hooghly and many places of East Bardhaman are still under water.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">In Kolkata, most of the roads are waterlogged; causing traffic to be slow and normal life being heavily impacted. Kolkata has received over 15 cm of rain while Panskura of Purba Medinipur recorded the maximum 25 cm of rain in the last 24 hours.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">The met department has predicted that the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining Bangladesh is likely to move west north-westwards across Jharkhand, south Bihar and southern parts of Uttar Pradesh during next 48 hours.</span><br />
