West Bengal: 344 people tested positive for COVID-19 in last 24 hours

In West Bengal, 344 people have tested positive for novel Coronavirus infections in last 24 hours in the state. <br />'' <br />'' With this, the total number of affected people has reached  4 thousand 536 in the state. According to the State Health Department sources, 6 infected persons have died during last 24 hours taking the COVID-19 death toll to 223. <br />'' <br />'' Sources said, 90 affected people were discharged from hospitals in last 24 hours after recovery. Total number of recovered people has risen to 1 thousand 668. AIR correspondent reports that highest number of COVID-19 infections and deaths due to the infection have been reported from Kolkata followed by North 24 Paraganas district.
