World Economic Forum, WEF, says, India is positioned much more favourably than China in terms of growth in coming years. It said there is now a consensus among analysts that there are only a few bright spots in the global economy and India is one of them. Viraj Mehta, head of India and South Asia for World Economic Forum, said that India's growth accelerated this year to around 7.5 per cent. In an article on its website, Mr Mehta said that it is clear that India is no longer considered part of the 'fragile five' emerging economies, as it was just a few years ago. He said, in order to continue on this path, India must carry on building foreign investor confidence, something that has been more variable in recent months.
