Amid rising cases of COVID-19,  the weekend curfew has been imposed in the national capital. It will be effective from 10 PM this Friday till 5 AM on Monday.  However, during the weekend curfew, movement of persons for marriage related gatherings upto 50 persons and funeral related gatherings upto 20 persons will  continue to be allowed. Earlier, a seven-hour night curfew from 10  PM  to 5 AM  was imposed in  Delhi which will remain there in the week days till 30th  April. Briefing media,  Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today informed that Malls, Gymnasiums, Spas will remain completely closed in the city whereas Cinema Halls have been directed to function at 30 per cent of their capacity till 30th of this month.  Only one weekly market per day per zone in all three Municipal Corporations,  New Delhi Municipal Council and  Delhi Cantonment Board will be allowed to open  with the strict compliance  of  COVID guidelines.<br />''   <br />'' During weekend curfew, government officials involved in emergency services  like health and family welfare and all related medical establishments, Police,  Fire and emergency Services as well as all other essential services will be allowed on production of valid  Identity  card.  All private medical personnel  will also be allowed.  People coming from or going to airports, railway stations and bus stations have been exempted  on production of valid tickets. There will be no restriction on inter-state and intra-state movement  and  transportation of essential  and  non-essential goods. No separate permission  or  e-pass will be required for such movements.<br />'' <br />'' The Chief Minister  assured the citizens that the situation in the city is under control and urged people not to insist for admission into any particular hospital during this time of pandemic. Mr. Kejriwal said  more than 5000 hospital beds are still available in the city. He  also directed hospitals to increase the number of beds designated for covid patients. The Chief Minister today reviewed the Covid situation in a meeting with Lieutenant Governor  Anil Baijal  and City Health Minister Styendar Jain.
