Weekend curfew imposed in Delhi

A weekend curfew will be in force in Delhi from 10 PM on Friday to 5 AM on Monday amid the spike in Covid-19 cases. During the weekend curfew, there will be restrictions on movement of individuals. However, people who come under the exempted categories will be allowed to move.<br />'' <br />''The officials, who are involved in essential and emergency services will be allowed on production of valid Identity cards. All private medical personnel like Doctors, nursing staff, paramedical staff will be allowed to move on production of Identity cards. Pregnant women and patients can move on production of Doctor's prescriptions and medical papers. Persons coming from or going to Airports, Railway stations and Bus Terminals allowed to travel on the production of valid tickets. Persons and students shall be allowed to appear in examination on production of valid Admit cards.<br />''<br />''In view of the weekend curfew in the National Capital on 8th and 9th January, the Delhi Metro train services will be available at a frequency of 15 minutes on the Yellow Line and Blue Line.  However, on all other lines, metro trains will be available at a frequency of 20 minutes during the weekend curfew. For the rest of the weekdays – from Monday to Friday, Metro services will continue to remain available as usual. <br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">As per the Delhi Disaster Management Authority order's metro trains and buses can run with 100 per cent of seating capacity. However, standing passengers will not be allowed. There will be no restriction on inter-state and intra-state movement and transportation of essential and non-essential goods. No separate permission and e-pass will be required for such movements.</span><br />

Weekend curfew imposed in Delhi

<span style="color: #222222;">Amid rising cases of COVID-19, the weekend curfew has been imposed in the national capital. It will come into force from 10 PM tonight till 5 AM on Monday.  However, during the weekend curfew, movement of persons for marriage-related gatherings upto 50 persons and funeral-related gatherings upto 20 persons will continue to be allowed. Earlier, a seven-hour night curfew from 10  PM  to 5 AM was imposed in Delhi which will remain there in the week days till 30th of this month.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">During weekend curfew, government officials involved in emergency services  like health and family welfare and all related medical establishments, Police, Fire and Emergency Services as well as all other essential services will be allowed on production of valid  Identity card. All private medical personnel will also be allowed. Person coming from or going to airports, railway stations and bus stations have been exempted on production of valid tickets. There will be no restriction on inter-state and intra-state movement and transportation of essential and non-essential goods. No separate permission or e-pass will be required for such movements.</span><br />''  <br />
