Weather in Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir has improved with bright sun shine after heavy fresh snowfall since midnight Saturday night. AIR Leh correspondent reports that one foot of snowfall was received at the famous tourists spot- Khardongla pass.

The correspondent reports that flight operation between Delhi and Leh has been cancelled due to heavy snowfall at Leh town. Hundreds of tourists are stranded at different stations.

One foot of snowfall has been received at the Khardongla pass, which is a famous tourists spot. According to the Metrological Department , Srinagar , 5 mm of snowfall was experienced at the low lying areas of Leh.
