Kerala Government has clarified that the huge treasure unearthed from the historical Sree Padmanabhaswami temple will be kept at the shrine itself with top security. Speaking at a press conference after a high level security review meeting last evening Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said high tech permanent security apparatus will be put in place with the permission of the Supreme Court. The entire expense for the same will be met by the state government and the age old tradition of the temple will remain intact. The Chief minister urged the media to avoid giving specifics of security system. Meanwhile, Supreme Court appointed observers will restart preparation of inventory this afternoon. One more secret underground cellar of the temple is to be opened.
