Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Friday said that weak credit off take in the economy is worrisome. Addressing a function in New Delhi, Mr Jaitley said increasing interest from foreign investors in the defence and railways sectors is encouraging. On the issue of black money, the Finance Minister said that it is better to take a legal recourse than an adventurous one.He said direct tax collection target may be achieved, even as indirect tax remains a challenge. The Minister also said government will soon take a decision on rationalising LPG subsidy to exclude the well-off. He said government taking commercial decisions can never do it in an oppressive environment.
