<h4 dir="ltr" id="m_-8396144301466032392gmail-docs-internal-guid-aa5e5680-7fff-bfb4-6ba5-7e559eccc984"><span style="background-color: transparent; color: #000000; font-size: 10pt;">Bangladesh Awami League Joint General Secretary and Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr. Hasan Mahumd has said that he wants all parties including the opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) to participate in the next general elections which is to be held in December this year or early January next year. He said that the Awami League also wants people to vote enthusiastically and elect the next government fairly.</span></h4><span style="background-color: transparent; color: #000000;">Dr. Hasan Mahmud was speaking to the media after exchanging views with the 'Election Monitoring Forum' which is a forum of 51 organisations from among 108 organisations registered with the Bangladesh Election Commission for monitoring the elections. It also has representatives from abroad including from Nepal, Bhutan, Genarmy among others. The forum had monitored the last general elections and it will depute observers for the next general elections also, said the Minister.&nbsp;<br />''<br />''Dr. Hasan Mahmud said that elections in Bangladesh will be held under the supervision of the Election Commission (EC) as it is held in all parliamentary democracies like India, Australia, Japan, UK, Germany and others. He said EC will take initiative to ensure that all political parties participate in the elections. Awami League wants BNP also to participate as the ruling party does not want to&nbsp; get a walkover.&nbsp;</span><br />
