Defending champions Germany beat Canada 6-0 in their second Pool A match of the Hockey World Cup in New Delhi today. Playing a fast-paced and one-touch hockey, the reigning Olympic champions and world number one side dictated terms for most part of the match which they led 4-0 at the breather. Canada gave a stiff fight after the breather but still conceded two goals in the second session.For Germany, 18-year-old Florian Fuchs scored twice while Benjamin Wess, Jan-Marco Motag, captain Maximillian Muller and Martin Haner found the target once each.In the second match Korea defeated Argentina 2-1.New Zealand take on Netherlands in the third match of the day later this evening.
