Ministry of women and child development has said it is working actively with Home Ministry, National Crime Records Bureau and National Informatics Centre to tackle cyber crime against women and children.<br/><br/>The Ministry said cyber platforms are increasingly being misused by perpetrators to harass and abuse women and children for voyeuristic pleasures.<br/><br/>The Ministry has funded through Nirbhaya Fund a dedicated portal called Cyber Crime Prevention against Women and Children. This portal will be the most specific and focused platform to tackle cyber crime against women and children. The portal will go on stream from March next year.<br/><br/>The Ministry said, in the meanwhile people can use www.digitalpolic.gov.in for reporting these crimes online. This portal is an initiative developed under crime and criminal tracking networks and systems.
