In Arunachal Pradesh, the Weavers’ Credit Card (WCC) Scheme is going to be launched for the first time in the State at Naharlagun in Capital Itanagar on the 8th of this month next by the Development Commissioner (Handloom), Union Ministry of Textiles. It will be marked by holding of an exhibition cum awareness camp on the centrally sponsored scheme at Naharlagun on that day.Incepted on the lines of Artisans Credit Card, the WCC would help in meeting credit needs of handloom weavers in a better way.
