WC Hockey:Spain beat South Africa 4-2 in inaugural match

Formidable Spain started their hockey World Cup campaign on a perfect note, beating South Africa 4-2 in the inaugural match.Spain scored two goals in both the halves through Roc Oliva in 19th minute, Miquel Delas in 21st minute, Rodrigo Garza in 46th minute and Pau Quemada in 60th. While for South Africa Julian Hykes and Ian Haley hit two goals in the first period.Match between Australia and England are underway.Emotions are sure to run high when India take on arch rival Pakistan in the hockey World Cup begining at Major Dhayan Chand Stadium in New Delhi tonight at 8.30 p.m. Heavy security are in place for the two-week long mega sports event.
