India will take on Pakistan in the hockey World Cup beginning in New Delhi today. Heavy security is in place for the two-week long event. In the other matches of the inaugural day Spain take on South Africa and Australia versus England. All India Radio will broadcast live commentary alternately in Hindi and English from today on all the hockey matches till the 13th of next month. The commentary on the matches between South Africa and Spain can be heard from 4.30 p.m. onwards. It can be heard from 6.30 p.m. between Australia vs. England and from 8.30 p.m. between India Vs. Pakistan today.
