In the ICC Cricket World Cup today, Australia recorded a comfortable 7-wicket victory over Canada. In a Group 'A' Day-Night encounter at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, they easily achieved the victory target of 212 in 34.5 overs. Earlier, the defending champions bowled out Canada for 211 in 45.4 overs. Shane Watson who top-scored with a fine 94 for the winners was declared 'Man of the Match'.For Australia, it was their 34th consecutive win in World Cup matches.The Ausssies who had already qualified for the quarter-finals, now top Group 'A' with nine points from five games. Canada finished their World Cup fixtures with two points from six matches. Tomorrow, England meet the West Indies at the M A Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. All India Radio will broadcast live commentary on the Group 'B' Day-Night game. The commentary can be heard on Rajdhani Channel and FM Gold from 2 P.M. onwards.
