The final exams of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Examination (WBCHSE) for class XII began today. The written will continue till the 22nd of next month. This year the total numbers of examinees are over 5 lakh 4 hundred which is about 50 thousand more than last year.<br/><br/>The number of male candidate this year is around 2 lakh 89 thousand and 300, while the number of female candidates are 2 lakh 23 thousand 366. The exams are being conducted in about 12 hundred centers through out the state. <br/><br/>The exams begin at 10 in the morning and end at 1-15 in the afternoon. An extra 15 minutes of time will be given to the candidates to read the question papers.<br/>
