In west Bengal, the truck owners have decided to defer their proposed indefinite strike from Tuesday. The Federation of West Bengal Truck Operators Association took the decision following a meeting with the State Transport Minister Madan Mitra in Kolkata. The truck owners are protesting against the new Motor Vehicles Act and for some other demands.
