The West Bengal Government is planning to start second phase of joint operations with Jharkhand Government to tackle Maoist menace in the Jungle Mahal area of the State. The Director General of Police, Mr. Naparajito Mukhopadhyay told newsmen in Kolkata on Friday that State Police recently had a meeting with its Jharkhand counterpart in this regard. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has offered a government job to the Maoists who will surrender before the administration to return main stream of life. She firmly said that the Government will not tolerate killings of innocent people by Maoist. Ms. Banerjee also announced job to the families of the victims who were killed in Maoist attacks in the State.
