The West Bengal Government has decided to set up 17 new Clusters for Small and Medium industries in the state. Giving this information in Kolkata today the State industry Minister Mr. Partha Chatterjee said that the district administrations have been asked to identify land for this purpose. Mr. Chatterjee informed that his department is preparing a report on land available in the closed factories in the state and the quantum of unused land taken by various industrial groups for setting up industries.
