In West Bengal, campaigning for first phase of Assembly poll in the State has reached to its feverish pitch. The first phase will cover 54 seats constituencies in six North Bengal districts. Polling will be held on Monday. 364 candidates are in the fray. AIR Kolkata Correspondent reports that preparations are on to ensure free and fair voting. Tight security arrangements have been made to maintain law and order. Campaigning in Falaka in Jalpaiguri District in west Bengal, BJP leader L.K.Advani said the Left Front government has not done anything in the state during its 34-years rule. He alleged that the condition of roads, health services, education, and drinking water is in bad shape.
