WB orders CID probe against killing of boy for protesting eve-teasing

The West Bengal has ordered CID probe against the killing of a boy for protesting eve-teasing. State Chief Secretary Samar Ghosh said in Kolkata on Wednesday that one Police constable has been suspended in connection with the incident. Our correspondent reports Rajiv Das aged 14 years was killed by some anti-social on last Monday night at Brasat in North 24th Paragana district while he protested eve-teasing to his elder sister. Chief Minister Buddhadev Bhattacharya on Wednesday visited the deceased house and ordered the enquiry. The government has also decided to give compensation of two lakh rupees to the family of the victims.
