The West Bengal Government today handed over seven lease contracts to seven industrial houses with an aim to intensify the industrialization process in the state. The Industries and Commerce Minister Mr. Partha Chattyapadhyay signed a contract to this effect with the representatives of these industrial houses.Later talking to newspersons, Mr. Chattyapadhyay said that, this signing of lease agreements is a part of the 99 lease that the State Government is due to sign. In accordance to the signed lease, the State Government today handed over 546.004 acres of land to the industrial houses. Mr. Partha Chattyapadhyay said that, nothing other than industrialization will be allowed in the allotted land. He said, his Department will keep an eye whether any violation of any clause of industrialization in the allotted land is taking place.
