The West Bengal government has re-sent another letter to the centre today over the recovery of the stolen Nobel prize of Rabindranath Tagore. The State government had sent a letter earlier in December enquiring about the measures taken to recover the stolen and missing the Nobel medal. But as per reports, no response was given. <br/><br/>Thus the government decided to send a letter again seeking permission to transfer the responsibility of finding out the Noble from the CBI to the state. <br/><br/>The state government has expressed its desire to take over the responsibility and would like to find out the missing Nobel prize along with a watch, a bangle and some important citations belonging to Rabindranath Tagore.<br/><br/><br/>West Bengal Chief Minister, Ms. Mamata Banerjee had yesterday lashed out at the Central Government for playing a negligible role in the discovery of the Nobel prize of Kabiguru Ravbindranath Tagore, which was stolen in 2004.<br/><br/>Ms. Mamata Banerjee criticized the centre for its role, at the Shanti niketan, where she went to attend a programme. <br/><br/>She said, that if CBI could not find out the nobel prize, she would find it herself if she gets an opportunity. Ms. Banerjee reminded that Rabindranath belongs to the state, country and the world.
